PYLON & POLE SIGNS

Pylon Signs are another way to utilize sign cabinets by giving them elevation. Pylon signs are free-standing signs, meaning they do not typically mount to a building at all. Instead, these pole signs are usually mounted high up on a pole for the world to see. Some of the Pylon signs we have made were installed at over 50 feet!

POLE & PYLON SIGNS

Pylon Signs are another way to utilize sign cabinets by giving them elevation. Pylon signs are free-standing signs, meaning they do not typically mount to a building at all. Instead, these pole signs are usually mounted high up on a pole for the world to see. Some of the Pylon signs we have made were installed at over 50 feet!

Pole signs are often used for businesses near busy roads such as state routes or highways. From even hundreds of feet away, your business sign will stand out against the sky.

The production of pylon signs can vary widely because of their tremendous size. Many are made just as a typical sign cabinet is built – using aluminum extrusions and acrylic faces. For larger faces, polycarbonate is used for longevity. Some Pylon signs are even too big for polycarbonate faces! This is where we would use a banner-like material called flex face. Flex face is lightweight and it lights beautifully. The construction of these boxes is slightly different as the aluminum extrusions used need to accommodate for the different style face.

No matter what your pylon sign requires, Elevate Sign Group has the experience and crews to get it done. If you’re not yet sure what you want or what the code allows, a project manager will gladly assist you.
